Bloop is a macOS app that turns whatever is playing on your Mac into a form that moves with it. No plug-in, no account, no service to connect.
It listens to the Mac, not to one app.
Bloop takes its input from your system audio, so it does not care which app the sound came from. Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube in a browser, a DJ set, a video call recording — if it plays through the Mac, it drives the visual.
You can point Bloop at the microphone instead. That turns the room itself into the input: a guitar, a voice, a record player across the room. Steady room noise settles out on its own, and sensitivity runs from 1/8× to 8× so a quiet room and a loud one both work.

Every movement comes from the track.
Level, bass, mid, treble, energy, and beats are read continuously and drive the form in real time. Quiet passages settle. Louder moments stretch it, split it, and pull it apart. Nothing is on a loop or a timer.

Bloop is free to download and runs on macOS. Open it, grant audio permission once, and press play in whatever you already listen to. A one-time license unlocks every skin for good, and there is no subscription and no account.
