A visualizer for Spotify and Apple Music.
Bloop is not an extension and it does not sign in to your music service. It listens to your Mac's system audio, so whatever you are already playing drives the visual.
Keep the player you already use.
Because Bloop takes its input from system audio, the player does not matter. Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube in a browser, a podcast app, a local file — the sound reaches Bloop the same way in every case, and the visual reacts to what you can hear.
That also means nothing is connected to your account. Bloop does not ask for a login, does not read your library, and does not send your listening anywhere.
Track information, where it is available.
Bloop can read track information from Apple Music and Spotify and show it on screen. Previous, play or pause, and next controls appear for those controllable players. Browser playback is display-only, so those controls stay hidden and only the title shows when browser detection is available.
Setting it up.
Download Bloop, open it, and grant audio permission once. Choose System Audio as the input, press play in Spotify or Apple Music, and the form starts moving. If nothing moves, check that the Mac's output is going to the device Bloop is listening to — the support page walks through it.
